Does the cost of conveyancing differ for a purchase and a sale?
No, the cost of conveyancing for a purchase and the sale is the same. Please see our fees table above for further information.
When are fees billed?
We bill the full conveyancing fee at the time of settlement. For sales, we request a small amount of the conveyancing fee be paid upfront to cover the cost of our time to prepare the Contract of Sale and order the required certificates.
Do you charge for contract reviews?
We offer 3 free contract reviews. Subsequent contract reviews are charged in line with our fees page.
Can conveyancing be done remotely?
Yes, the full conveyancing process can be done remotely. If you would prefer to come in to discuss your matter, you can make an appointment to visit our Narre Warren office.
Do we notify authorities after settlement?
Yes, following settlement we notify the relevant authorities (ie water utilities, council) of your purchase or sale.
